Dr Imran Malik, MBBS, FRCPsych,Medical Director of St Mathews Healthcare Northampton, Consultant NHS Psychiatrist, award Clinical Excellence Awards, fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. An elected Member of the Executive Committee of the General Adult Faculty of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, Co-Opted Member of the Psychopharmacology Committee of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and a Member of the Executive Committee of the Transcultural Special Interest Group of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. Section 12 Approved Clinician by the Secretary of State under the Mental Health Act.

Dr Malik is Head of Psychiatric Services and Clinical Director at Elate Health.Past experience and practice of medicine includes: a period as Honorary Lecturer at Imperial College London, in the Department of Psychological Medicine and has previously lectured on Neuropsychiatry at the MRCPsych course run by East Midlands Deanery. He co-authored three published text books on the MRCPsychExams and he also contributed to the translation of ICD-10 Diagnosis book into Urdu. Further, he has published research on Eating Disorders; ‘Comparing the Ethnic Differences in the Symptomatology and Treatments Being Offered’.He has also had specialist training in rTMS from the NeuroStar University, New York.

Dr Imran has a proven track record in medical management within both the NHS and Private Sector.Key strengths include: extensive experience of assessing, diagnosing and managing complex mental health difficulties, including Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Affective Disorder, OCD, PTSD, ADHD, Anxiety Disorders and Psychotic Disorders.
